Surrey Eye Surgeons have just launched a new website from Redhead Media.  The Guildford based eye surgeon specialists wanted a site that could support and enhance the culture within their group.  The business needed a professional looking site that was usable, would appeal to a wide range of people and would allow rapid expansion and growth.  Based in Guildford Surrey, Surrey Eye Surgeons are a group of Consultant Ophthalmologists providing a specialist range of eye treatments and services.

Working closely with Surrey Eye Surgeons we are now developing a Blog, carrying out Search Engine Optimisation and helping them to develop their content strategy.

Medical website design considerations should include ease of access and a clear navigation structure  - amongst other standard intelligent design points.  Navigation is best when it is intuitive and simple - not to mention that from a search engine optimisation perspective, it must be actual text within the page (well a list really) and not an image.  Google struggles to follow a link from an image and therefore will not index what the link is pointing at.  Simple barriers to the googlebot spider like this can prevent your site being indexed and therefore hold you back from rising up that natural, organic side of the Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS).
